TEAM POLICIES:
Full details on our team policies, fees and expectations are included in the team registration agreements and the 2026 Team Handbook and on Fees and Billing page.
VOLUNTEER REQUIREMENTS:
Swim meets are hosted throughout the year here at the Columbus Aquatic Center. In order to successfully host these meets, volunteers are needed to fulfill various responsibilities. Families are expected to volunteer during every meet your swimmer attends. Failure to fulfill your volunteer obligation may result in removal of your swimmer from the event or fines. We will be hosting 9 meets this year and most meets will have between 3 and 5 sessions for you to choose from. Meet sessions are 2-4 hours long.
FUNDRAISING:
The Columbus Aquatic Club will offer team-wide fundraisers during the swim season as well as sponsorship opportunities. Participation is strongly encouraged as this helps us keep our costs down for swimmers.
DISABILITIES:
We believe swimming is an exceptionally adaptable and inclusive sport. Our coaches have lots of options and ideas for helping swimmers be successful on the team and finding joy in swimming. Swimmers with a disability are eligible to compete at state level meets under disability times to ensure a equitable opportunity for competition. Please contact us at admin@swimhurricanes.com to discuss your swimmers needs.
FINANCIAL HARDSHIP:
Families facing financial hardships should contact the Head Coach, Treasurer, or President to discuss solutions. We are committed to the success of our dedicated swimmers and welcome the opportunity to facilitate solutions for our members.
